Sit back, relax and grab a fishing rod! Ultimate Fishing Simulator must be one of the best fishing simulators of all time! Released August 30th, 2018, the game received positive reviews from the community!

In Ultimate Fishing Simulator you play as yourself! There really isn’t a story in Ultimate Fishing Simulator and that is the beauty of it! It is perfect if you want to take a break from story-driven games! The game is meant to be as realistic as possible when it comes to fishing the experience. You start off as a rookie and as you progress, you will discover new mechanics and unlockables that will make the game even more fun! 

In Ultimate Fishing Simulator there are two main game modes known as Fisheries and Tournament! Fisheries is the standard game mode in which you can relax, fish alone or with friends! The Tournament mode is perfect for those who would like some competitive fishing! With the flexible Tournament system, you will be able to change things such as the time limit and the win condition!

The gameplay is just beautiful! It really is what you would expect from a fishing simulator and more! In Ultimate Fishing Simulator you can earn money and level up by catching fishes! Things such as licenses and gear can be purchased with the money! Licences must be purchased to unlock new stages in which you will be able to find more species. This makes the game rewarding and makes you want to play more of it! The feeling of learning a new way to fish is just amazing! It opens up more possibilities and makes the game feel a bit different! As you level up, you will also unlock new abilities that will make the experience easier and more rewarding for you. You will also notice that you will be replaying most of the stages for a decent amount of time since a certain amount of money and experience is required in order to progress to the next stage.

The graphics for Ultimate Fishing Simulator is absolutely gorgeous! The atmosphere is relaxing no matter where you are! Nothing beats fishing by a lake close to the mountains in the early spring as the sun is setting! That combined with the great ambient sounds makes it an experience on another level! From the second you enter the main menu, you are greeted with a cheerful soundtrack that will put a smile on your face! The majority of the sounds you hear in-game will be sounds that nature has to offer!

In the beginning, I really thought I would struggle to get the hang of the controls but it turned out I was wrong! The game has a window at the bottom left corner that will display the controls for you. It makes it so much easier to learn. Ultimate Fishing Simulator also does a really good job when it comes to the difficulty of the game. When you create a profile, you will be asked to select one of the two difficulties. One being the standard mode and the other one being the realistic mode. The realistic mode will push you to the limit when it comes to fishing. Your skills in navigating through the without a HUD will be tested.  Whether or not you are new or seasoned at fishing simulators, I believe Ultimate Fishing Simulator is something for everyone!

I haven’t played anything this relaxing for a long time! It is a fresh and enjoyable experience overall. Considering Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2 is at the horizon, I can’t wait to see what is next in store for this franchise. What are you waiting for? Grab a fishing rod and start fishing already!
