Following TiL chairman Liam day's interview on BBC 3CR following the departure of Carlos Edwards, we would like to reiterate the Trust's stance now that Rowan Vine has been sold.
Naturally, we are all disappointed that they have gone and it looks as though the run-in to the end of the season will be hard going. With substantial monies coming into the club from the sales it remains to be seen how that money is spent.
We understand that a club like LTFC always runs at a debt. However we would hope that the majority of the money will be given to Mike Newell to bring in new players and that no more of the current squad will be sold.
We reserve further comment until after the next board meeting at the end of the month which will coincide with the end of the transfer window.
